China Construction Fourth Engineering Division The First Corp. Ltd faced significant challenges at their construction sites with traditional cement pneumatic conveying systems. Issues included excessive noise during unloading, high fuel consumption, moisture-laden cement leading to waste, and environmental pollution due to dust dispersion. Moreover, the traditional systems took about an hour to transport approximately 50 tons of cement, drastically reducing operational efficiency and escalating transportation costs.
Xinran transformed the cement conveying process with its tailor-made, energy-efficient pneumatic conveying system powered by permanent magnet variable frequency drives instead of diesel engines. The Xinran low pressure powder material transport system, specifically designed for cement applications, features a specialized low pressure screw air compressor that significantly reduces dust and noise pollution. Installed at concrete stations, the Xinran system uses compressed air produced by its low-pressure screw compressors, which is then buffered and dehydrated in storage tanks before being channeled through external air sources into the conveyance pipelines. This setup also includes real-time monitoring of silo data to prevent over-pressurization and excessive filling, with automated warnings that shut down the compressors to fundamentally solve these issues.
Implementing the innovative system provided by Xinran allowed the China State Construction Company to achieve a controlled, efficient, and environmentally friendly cement conveying operation. The benefits were immediate: a 30% reduction in electricity costs and a 50% decrease in transport time, substantially boosting transport efficiency and slashing operational expenses. This not only cut down on costs but also significantly mitigated environmental impact, setting a new standard in the industry for sustainable practices.
