    Advantages of Two Stage Compressor

    In principle, two stage compressor 10-20% more energy-saving than single stage compressor. With two screw rotors of different sizes, the reasonable pressure distribution can be realized to reduce the compression ratio of each compression. The low compression ratio reduces the internal leakage, increasing the volumetric efficiency, and greatly reduces the bearing load, extending the service life of main machine.
    The naissance of the two stage screw air compressor will push the whole compressor industry to develop energy-saving and environment-friendly products. It will also lead development direction of smaller input and larger output.

    As important power equipment, the two stage twin-screw air compressor must pay attention to the operation cost and energy consumption.
    • For example, in a working cycle of 10 years, the operation cost is composed of purchasing cost, maintenance cost and energy cost. The procurement and maintenance costs each accounted for only about 10%, while the energy cost is as high as 80%.
    • The final product you want to buy is the compressed air that created by air compressor, so that energy conservation is the largest value of air compressor.
    • Using this compressor can directly reduce energy consumption, thereby reducing the production cost.
    Principle of Two-Stage Twin-Screw Air Compressor
    • After the first compression, the air is cooled temperature by spraying oil. Lower the air temperature during the second compression stage to realize a constant pressure compression, reducing the compression work.
    • For double stage compressor, the pressure of each stage is usually set according to a constant pressure ratio, so the compression ratio of each stage compression is smaller than that of the singe stage compressor. The leakage between the rotor is greatly reduced, the volume efficiency and adiabatic efficiency are greatly improved, so that the volume of compressed air is greatly improved.
    • For the compressors of same power, the production of compressed air of double stage compressor is 15% higher than that of a single stage compressor.
    Introduction of Main Machine of Energy-Saving Two Stage Compressor
    • The main machine is designed with large rotor and low rotation speed. It contains two independent compression units.
    • The rotor adopts patented XR profile and has gone through 20 processes of finish machining, thus ensuring the accuracy, reliability and validity.
    • The first compression rotor and the second compression rotor are combined in one enclosure, and driven by helical gear, so that each of them can get the best linear speed to maximize the compression transmission efficiency.
    • The compression ratio of each stage is designed precisely to reduce the load of the bearing and the gear, and prolongs the service life of the machine.
    • Our patented oil lubrication system lubricates separately the compression chamber and bearing. The compression chamber is lubricated by ordinary lubricating oil, but the bearing is lubricated by high cleanliness lubricating oil, in order to guarantee the high reliability of bearing.
    • The compression ratio of each stage is smaller, so that there is less leakage, and the volume efficiency is higher.
    • The two heads bear the load, so that the bearing has a longer service life.
    Operating Cost of Double Stage Twin-Screw Compressor

    For the air compressors of same power, a double stage compressor can produce 13%-15% more than a single stage compressor. That to say a 90KW two-stage compressor has the same production capability with a 110K single stage air compressor. With 2 rotors work at the same time, the double stage compressor has higher production, which is its irreplaceable advantage. In addition, thanks to the two-stage compression, the compression ratio of each stage much smaller than that of single stage compression. Due to the lower pressure of rotors and bearing, the bigger diameter and low rotation speed of rotors, the operation is more reliable.
